In the case of inclement weather, classes may be offered virtually rather than in person.
As a parent you will learn how to include massage as part of caring for your baby to enhance health, well-being and development. Classes are designed for specific age groups of infants so that massage is exactly matched to your baby’s developmental stages. Classes are progressive so that you graduate smoothly from one age level to the next learning what is most beneficial for your baby.

Infant Massage for Sleep, Feeding, and Development

Infant Massage for babies from newborn to 5 months of age helps parents learn to use positive touch and massage strategies to communicate with and comfort their young infants. This course also teaches parents how to increase their baby’s digestive comfort at a time when colic and gas pains are a common problem,
“Little Movers” for babies from 5-8 months old is designed to teach parents how to encourage motor development. This class is offered intermittently based on demand.
Workshops are 75 minutes and $35 per class. Workshops are small groups, with parents and babes receiving personalized attention and instruction to meet their individual needs.

Offered directly through Healing Touch Infant Massage
Small Sprouts
Newborns to 8 weeks of age
Parent instruction in extra gentle and mindfully paced full body massage beneficial to very young infants. This type of massage is intended to soothe young babies to promote sleep, aid digestion, alleviate colic and abdominal discomfort, and to support muscle development.
Seedlings
2 to 5 months of age
Parent instruction in full body massage which is progressively more stimulating for maturing babies. Includes additional forms of abdominal massage to aid digestion. Includes more active techniques to encourage circulation, and enhance body/muscle awareness to contribute to motor skill development.
Saplings
5 to 8 months of age
Parent instruction with emphasis on massage strokes to facilitate large and fine motor coordination, strength, and stability. This is beneficial for babies in the age group of emerging muscle strength, postural control, mobility, and visual-motor skills. Sessions include strokes to aid digestion and enhance relaxation response to promote sleep quality.
Keys To Infant Soothing and Sensory Development (KISSD)
KISSD is a course Juelaine created to provide new parents with understanding and tools to soothe their young babies and support their overall development.
This workshop is offered in individual or small group settings of 1-6 families in two 75 minute sessions.
Class One is attended before baby’s birth.
Class Two is attended when baby is between 2 - 12 weeks old.

Individual class (1 infant): $45.00 virtual or $65 in person at your home
Small group (2-6 infants): $30.00 virtual or $40 in person
Individualized instruction to meet the special needs of an infant or older child: $75.00 in person
All classes are 60 minutes.
